2008 Rosé of Cabernet Sauvignon

Delight

Bright, crisp and refreshing, with hints of raspberry and cherry, this lovely Rosé of Cabernet Sauvignon is charming, mischievous and utterly captivating. Despite the fact that Cabernet Sauvignon is our flagship wine, in the many years we’ve worked with this variety, we’ve never made a Rosé. We’re very pleased with our first effort and, like proud parents, we’re delighted to introduce Delight. We think she’ll be good company for her big brother.

Méthode: We crafted this wine from estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, leaving the juice on the skins for a very brief 14 hours. Our reward was a bewitching blush color, resulting in a wine that is truly “pretty in pink.” We fermented this Rosé in stainless steel tanks and aged it in 25% new oak for four months before bottling.
